 Youssef Al-Ammari.
 Regarding the life of Maryam, known in the media as the “kidnapping of Dammam”, the Saudi journalist explained that she had run away from her family’s home at the age of sixteen, in order to marry a Saudi young man without the desire of any of her family, and this is what made the security forces in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia find in the search  From her until they found her with the Saudi young man and they were married, and he was sentenced at that time to flogging as well as imprisonment in the girls’ home in Al-Ahsa.

Al-Hamrani added in his narration of the story of Maryam, the kidnapper of Dammam, that she used to wear a hearing aid, as a result of her poor hearing, after she was attacked by some of her relatives because she ran away from her family.  She left the Al-Ahsa girls' home, and the Saudi journalist continued his story, saying that Maryam had frequented her father's house at intervals, and that during these visits she had taken her inheritance from her father.
 
 Regarding her treatment of the children she kidnapped, Al-Hamrani says that she has never treated them like their mother, but has always treated them as strangers to her.  during her stay there.

The investigations with Maryam continued for several months, and after that, the official spokesperson for the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that the investigators in charge of interrogating Maryam in the Public Prosecution had carried out about two hundred and forty-seven procedures in this case, including forty interrogation sessions with twenty-one persons among the witnesses.  And this investigation ended with the indictment of five defendants in the case of Maryam kidnapper of Dammam, including a person who resides outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom demanded his return to Saudi Arabia through Interpol or the international police.

The story of Maryam, the kidnapper of Dammam, goes back to the fact that about twenty years ago she kidnapped three children from a hospital in Dammam, who belong to different families, and raised them for more than twenty years.
