Israel says it used more than 10,000 bombs and missiles, and carried out hundreds of air strikes across the Gaza Strip, in response to an attack carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

According to Gaza officials, more than 50% of the Strip's housing units have been destroyed, some of which have become uninhabitable or severely damaged since the beginning of this conflict.

Reports indicate that about two million people, or about 85% of the Gaza Strip’s population, were displaced from their homes, fleeing the extensive damage.
