Study strengths and weaknesses
Use of the predicted results of an ARIMA model to guide 
infection control in outpatients was the most signifcant 
strength of this study.In addition, this study 
used actual ILI surveillance data from an individual hospital, Xuanwu Hospital, better refecting the infected 
patients in that hospital than data from the entire city of 
Beijing.Tus, the infection control measures suggested 
by this study may have greater applicability to patients 
at Xuanwu Hospital than to patients at other centers, 
including those in Beijing.Tis model connected the requirements of infection control in outpatients with hierarchical infection control measures.
