Counterfeiting: beneficial or harmful?
Many people argue that counterfeiting may benefit consumers since it
provides them with various brands in low prices.
in my opinion, this is a totally wrong claim because of its negative eftect!
on both the consumer and the economy.
First, look at the clothes we wear today. They lose color the first time yo
wash them. Fake batteries that no longer work sometimes is another
example of the poor quality of these products.
Secondly, counterfeit medicines and cosmetics pose a greater problem,
They may cause serious health problems and even kill peonle as they
contain dangerous chemicois.
Besides, it is highly immoral to deceive people using stolen trademarks
This results in loss of profitability and posts of jobs in the original
companies.
Moreover, imitation gives bad reputation to the countries (china, Taiwi
India….) therefore consumers will lose confidence and refrain from buying
their brands,
At last, our fellow people should pay attention to their health and safe
more than the money they spend. While companies have to play their rol
to fight this phenomenon, in other words, they had better reduce the pric
of originals instead of spending lot of money on advertising.
