Our study, "The Role of Accounting Information Systems in Achieving Financial Performance and Productivity in Service Sector (Hotels) in Oman," is focused on offering recommendations for enhancing the accounting information systems of five well-known hotels in Oman in chapter five. UBAR Hotels and Resorts, Gulf Hotels, Sahara Hospitality, Global Hotel Management, and The Al Batinah Hotel are some of these hotels. To maximize efficiency and financial success, our goal is to pinpoint areas in which these hotels' accounting information systems might be improved. We will analyze the systems and procedures that are currently in use and provide workable suggestions to close any gaps or inefficiencies. We will investigate several facets of accounting information systems, including reporting capabilities, timeliness, integration, and data correctness, through our research. We will also take into consideration the demands and difficulties that every hotel faces, keeping in mind their distinct operational and budgetary needs. These hotels stand to gain from increased financial performance, greater decision-making ability, and simpler procedures by putting our recommendations into practice. Our ultimate objective is to help these hotels take full use of accounting information systems so they can succeed more in Oman's cutthroat service industry.
