One of the fundamental principles utilized in engineering work is the law of
conservation of matter.If one uses the straight-line method, then plotting
and analysis are musts.The straight-line method was first recognized by van Everdingen, et al,' but for
some reason, it was never fully exploited.The advantages and the elegance of this
