Strengths and Limitations
A strength of the present study is the inclusion of experienced postlingually deafened adult CI users who are homogeneous with respect to CI center, CI brand, speech processing strategy, stimulation rate, pulse width, number of maxima, and who are rehabilitated in a team with a small number of surgeons, audiologists, and speech pathologists.The explained variance of the prediction models described in this study was limited.
