This paper examines Thei role of collective imovements in the developmenti and promotion of the values of citizenship amongi Algerian youth as an important element of any strategy and aims at achievingi sustainable development and moving the concept of participation from theoretical perceptions to sociali practices.Improving their national and cultural assets about their homeland and their societal values, the studyi seeks to ask the followingi question: to what extent the collectivei movement contributesi to the values of citizenship and voluntary participation among young people, and it has proved impossible to talk about the success of national or international policies and strategies in this area without involving and supporting the capacities of the collective movement.And thus contributei to the consolidation of the traditionsi of voluntary youth participation through charity.
