17.Second, it is necessary to introduce a variety of reading materials, including contemporary literature and cultural stories, which reflect students' interests and help them relate to the content.Technology in education should also be enhanced by incorporating digital tools and educational applications that support reading and writing, which helps students better engage with the content.In addition, it is advisable to provide opportunities for collaborative learning, where students can work together in groups to discuss texts and exchange ideas, which enhances their communication skills.There should be lessons directed at reading only, away from the rules, and taking into consideration the application of some strategies such as the student conference so that they are included and suggested in the Arabic language curriculum plans, especially for the primary stage because it is the foundation stage.Finally, the curriculum should include training for teachers on the latest methods of teaching reading and writing, which ensures the use of effective strategies in the classroom.Through these changes, we can achieve significant improvement in students' reading and writing skills, which contributes to their academic success.The new curriculum is full of writing exercises; we need more realistic texts that are appropriate for the age group and academic level.For me, the old curriculum (Ana Amer) was much stronger in conveying and strengthening skills than the new curriculum.I would like to see curricula that focus more on interactive and practical activities that enhance reading and writing skills, such as using interesting stories and group discussions.Increased exercises and solutions in the classroom
