What is Social Work?Facilitating the interaction, modify and build new

directed at improving human and social
conditions and alleviating human distress and 
social problems.Help people enhance and more effectively utilize their own 
problem solving and coping capacities.Introduction:
Social work is a new and young profession which 
appeared during the late nineteenth and early 
twentieth century.Those processes involved in giving service, financial 
assistance or personal counsel to individuals social 
workers in social agencies.Enhance the problem solving coping and developmental 
capacities of people.Social work practice consists of the professional application 
of Social work vales, principals and techniques.Social work is an applied science of helping people to 
achieve an effective level of psychosocial functioning.Social work is a helping activity directed to problems
