Sohar Aluminum was established in September 2004 as a new project for the first aluminum smelter in the Sultanate of Oman.The development of Sohar Aluminum in many ways reflects the Sultanate's image on the global stage and its progress towards development, while at the same time giving great importance to the cultural heritage and Omani values.The smelter's annual production capacity is 395,000 tons of high-quality aluminum.
