Murraya paniculata, commonly known as orange jasmine, is a tropical evergreen shrub or small tree native to South and Southeast Asia.MP leaf extracts were reported to exhibit antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as demonstrated by disc diffusion and microdilution tests.(Gautam and Goel, 2012) The study aimed to evaluate the antimicrobial properties of Murraya paniculata fruit extract, particularly against multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacterial and fungal pathogens, including Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, and Candida albicans.MP essential oil also possesses remarkable antibacterial properties (Dosoky et al., 2016).
