define them.Similarly, it is difficult to define a native speaker of English (McKay, 2002, p. 28) as
it is unclear if speakers who acquire two languages simultaneously should be considered native speakers.Despite this problem, many native speakers of British and American English undoubtedly exist, and some
of them are perceived to speak with a standard accent.
