Roller coasters are becoming increasingly intense, attracting millions of riders annually. While some experts worry about the safety of these rides due to the potential for head injuries caused by sudden movements, a recent study suggests otherwise. Two scientists investigated the effects of riding three of the fastest coasters in the US and found that the twists and turns are not fast enough to cause brain injuries. They argue that the reported incidents are few and not proven, considering the massive number of roller coaster rides taken each year.
