Banana peels, pre-treated with a 0.5% Na2S2O5 solution, were boiled in distilled water for 30 minutes. After drying and blending, the resulting paste was filtered to obtain banana peel starch. 25ml of this starch, mixed with 3ml acetic acid and 2ml propan-1,2,3-triol, was poured into a petri dish and baked at 60°C for 30 minutes, creating a biodegradable film. 2.5cm x 2.5cm pieces of this film were buried 5cm deep, watered regularly, and their weight and length (both initial and after stretching) were monitored at two-day intervals after removal and cleaning. The final sentence appears to be unintelligible and unrelated to the experimental procedure.
