Today, I read a poem written by Hind Joudeh from Gaza, and I couldn’t hold back my emotions. This poem isn’t just words—it’s a cry from the heart of a person living under siege, under bombing and destruction, speaking of pain greater than anything words can express.

Hind isn’t just talking about hunger for food. The hunger she feels is for dignity, for peace, for the right to simply exist as a human being. Every day that passes in Gaza, this pain grows, and so does our responsibility to stand with them.

As students, as young people, as individuals with a voice, we have to speak up. We can’t stay silent. Gaza needs us to stand with them, even if it’s just through words. They need us to amplify their voices to a world that doesn’t see them or chooses to ignore them.
