The study aims to investigate the nicotine-sensing behavior of nickel(II) complexes through electrocatalytic sensors towards nicotine for target-specific prevention of stroke. Additionally, the study aims to prepare and analyze uninuclear Ni2+ complexes with substituted butanimidamide Schiff base ligands, explore their structure using spectroscopic techniques, and utilize these complexes as catalysts in oxidation and aryl-aryl coupling reactions.
