The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a relatively young nation, formed in 1971 through the union of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm al-Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah.The country has invested heavily in infrastructure projects, including world-class airports, highways, and skyscrapers, transforming it into a global hub for business and tourism.The visionary ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, played a pivotal role in uniting the seven emirates.Recognizing the benefits of cooperation and economic development, he initiated discussions and negotiations that culminated in the formation of the UAE on December 2nd, 1971.Its history, however, stretches back centuries, intertwined with the rich tapestry of the Arabian Peninsula.
