Slump test:
. clean the mold well, especially the inner surface . place the mold on a completely horizontal surface that is impermeable to water . the mold is filled in three batches, each layer equal to a third of the total height of 30 cm. compaction is done 25 times using the rod, ensuring that it penetrates the entire layer and the layer below it.
. final surface leveling . immediately after leveling, the mold is lifted vertically upwards with great care.
. the amount of slump is measured by the difference between the height of the mold and the height of the sample.
Vee-bee test:
. the slump cone was placed in the cylinder . the mixed concrete was placed in the slump cone on 3 stages, in each stage the concrete was compacted by a uniformly rod for 25 times all over the, surface, till the slump cone was filled to its top . the glass disc attached to the swivel arm was turned and placed on the top of the concrete in the top . the electrical vibrator was switched on and a stop-watch was started, at the same time . vibration was continued till the conical shape of the concrete converted to cylindrical shape . when the concrete fully converted to a cylindrical shape, the stop-watch was switched off immediately. The time was noted and scored

. the concrete sample is placed in the upper hopper . the door of the first trap was opened to fill the next portion and the door of the second trap was opened and the concrete was opened to allow the concrete to fall freely into the empty cylinder . the outside of the cylinder was cleaned, then the weight of the cylinder was taken
