The study aimed to recognize the degree of school administration activation of voluntary work hours that are required for graduation from secondary schools (pathways), concerning the (education, health, tourism, religion, law, finance, environment, and technical) domains of volunteering, according to the perspective of volunteering coordinators in Jeddah governorate (n = 105) from boy schools and (n = 130) from girl schools.The study recommended that school administration should concentrate efforts on domains that are poorly activated, like the law and tourism domains, and that it should continue providing training programs for all male and female coordinators, due to their positive impact on enhancing voluntary activities in all domains.There were no statistically significant differences that can be attributed to the variables of (gender, education, years of experience, and job status), at the (0.05) level of significance, whereas there were statistically significant differences for the variable of (training courses in voluntary work) at the (0.05) level of significance.Key Words: school administration - pathway system - voluntary work domains -hours required for graduation - volunteering coordinators

The study aimed to recognize the degree of school administration activation of voluntary work hours that are required for graduation from secondary schools (pathways), concerning the (education, health, tourism, religion, law, finance, environment, and technical) domains of volunteering, according to the perspective of volunteering coordinators in Jeddah governorate (n = 105) from boy schools and (n = 130) from girl schools. To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher adopted the descriptive survey approach and employed a questionnaire as a tool of study. The main findings of the study were as follows: The general degree of activating voluntary work hours at secondary schools was moderate, with an arithmetic mean = (3.26) and a standard deviation = (0.81), as the religion domain was at first rank, with an arithmetic mean = (3.60) and a standard deviation = (1.04) which indicates great interest on the part of administration, in enhancing voluntary religious activities, followed by the environment domain, with an arithmetic mean = (3.50) and a standard deviation = (0.92), and then the education domain, with an arithmetic mean = (3.50) and a standard deviation = (1.02). The degree of activation in the financial, technical, and health domains was moderate, as the arithmetic means of these domains were (3.30), (3.21), and (3.09) respectively. As for the domains that were ranked as the least degree of activation, the law domain came with an arithmetic mean = (2.95) and a standard deviation = (1.10), and the tourism domain with an arithmetic mean = (2.88) and a standard deviation = (1.05). There were no statistically significant differences that can be attributed to the variables of (gender, education, years of experience, and job status), at the (0.05) level of significance, whereas there were statistically significant differences for the variable of (training courses in voluntary work) at the (0.05) level of significance. This finding is considered new within this phenomenon development. The study recommended that school administration should concentrate efforts on domains that are poorly activated, like the law and tourism domains, and that it should continue providing training programs for all male and female coordinators, due to their positive impact on enhancing voluntary activities in all domains.
