It does a lot in bringing people together in solving some issues of life and building relationships through the communication. In general, the term "communication" refers to the act of speaking, writing or using body language and is practiced everywhere whether at home, in school or at the workplace.
These can be further divided into three: verbal, non-verbal, and digital. Verbal is when two people engage in an oral exchange. Non-verbal describes those modes by which meaning is conveyed: gestures, facial expressions, and posture. In this modern age, of course, it is also necessary to include in that digital communication: texting and emailing. In each case, there is a different role being acted out in how one person perceives another.
It prevents one from being misinterpreted, freely allows expression of thoughts and feelings. School going students can also try enhancing their communication ability so that they can talk freely while speaking as well as may present themselves effectively in writing. Effective communication skill aids whereby individuals, for instance, colleagues study together the instructions to achieve certain tasks. Open communication in relationships allows the cultivation of trust and openness.
Such communication may at times become an ordeal-for instance, the language barrier, emotional tensions, or miscommunication. A good listener, speaker, and reading of cues can solve one from the other.
Indeed, communication comes first before any aspect of life. A person with good communicating skills becomes an edge through which he displays himself, gains relationships, and does away with a lot many misunderstandings.
