The influence of Chomsky on the modern vision of linguistics is fundamental.The conception that language is a property inherent to human beings that is endowed with a singular complexity, and that it is necessary to distinguish between grammaticality and meaning, is quite popular today.It is therefore a question of sharing knowledge in a more widespread way and of dealing with the task of extending the knowledge of that audience, hopefully more educated and erudite.From the fifties of the last century, the proposals of this author have been the subject of a growing interest that has not stopped increasing over time.

The conception that language is a property inherent to human beings that is endowed with a singular complexity, and that it is necessary to distinguish between grammaticality and meaning, is quite popular today. It is also assumed that there is a need to establish a clear distinction between syntactic rules and semantic rules, that the syntactic structure of language is the object of the science of linguistics and that the mechanisms that are responsible for the functioning of language are innate, so that language is not learned but develops, and it does so in a specific way, conditioned by the natural maturation of the human being. All these ideas and some others related to them are part of the way of understanding language and have been assumed by current linguists, which is why they form part of the baggage of any educated person in western culture. It is therefore a question of sharing knowledge in a more widespread way and of dealing with the task of extending the knowledge of that audience, hopefully more educated and erudite.
