This research presents a geological model of a giant Middle Eastern oil reservoir, based on field data from 161 wells. The oil-water contact level appears to be the main uncertain factor in estimating the oil volume in the reservoirs, as the available geological and field data were insufficient to establish this with certainty, and only 13% of the wells penetrated the water zone in the Mishrif Formation. The results of all scenarios indicate that the reservoir contains enormous quantities of oil in the oil reservoirs, and this large quantity confirms the importance of developing this oil field, and this is where the value of this study comes in.
