Abstract
This study exposes the spatial contradictory of scales and fields of living level for the western and eastern quarters of the city.It is also exposed that the highest deprivation percentage of the living level was in western Sikak quarter is (35.8%), then Al-Qattanah quarter (33.5%), AL-Tawassu'a quarter comes after with (33.1%), while according to the general guide of the living level in AL-Taqadum, AL-Andalus and AL-Jumhuri quarters consequently scales the least deprivation percentage (9.6%, 10.5%, 16%).These fields consist of six subfields: education, hospitality, dwelling, surroundings, economic state, and infrastructure, in addition to the general guide of living level that these six fields represent.
Abstract
This study exposes the spatial contradictory of scales and fields of living level for the western and eastern quarters of the city. These fields consist of six subfields: education, hospitality, dwelling, surroundings, economic state, and infrastructure, in addition to the general guide of living level that these six fields represent.
The study shows a clear contradictory between the evidences and scales of the general living level and also a contradiction among the quarters of the city, as well as a contradiction between the eastern and western parts of the city.
The total percentage of deprivation for the whole place of the study is (25.6%). The percentage for the eastern part is (29.8%) whereas, it is (21%) for the western part. It is also exposed that the highest deprivation percentage of the living level was in western Sikak quarter is (35.8%), then Al-Qattanah quarter (33.5%), AL-Tawassu'a quarter comes after with (33.1%), while according to the general guide of the living level in AL-Taqadum, AL-Andalus and AL-Jumhuri quarters consequently scales the least deprivation percentage (9.6%, 10.5%, 16%).
The study found out that the highest percentage of deprivation concerning the education field was (33.3%), then comes the dwelling field with (30.8%), the family economic state (27.6%) hospitality with (23.7%) the last but one comes the infrastructure field with (19.7%) and with (18.9%) comes the last field- the dwelling surrounding.
