Technological developments in the fields of wireless networks have enabled the pro duction of WSNs.WSN is an acronym for Wireless Sensor Network (RCSF in French), often associated with ad-hoc networks due to their common use of radio waves as well as their decentralized architectures.WSNs are embedded systems composed of a set of sensors aimed at collecting or capturing data (such as sound, vibrations, light, etc.) and transmitting it. In the following, we will study this type of wireless network, its main characteristics, components, and the potential applications of this very promising type of networkThese networks consist of a group of small, mobile devices known as sensors, which are used to measure and monitor environmental variables such as tempe rature, humidity, light, pressure, sound, and others.WSNs are also considered their successors.
