Snow Depth Analysis and Snowfall Amount Analysis data are issued every hour with a spatial resolution of 5 km. Snow Depth Analysis is based on (1) a model simplifying temporal variations in snow properties (e.g., compression and melting) with inputs of precipitation, temperature and other variables, and (2) modified model output based on AMeDAS data.Snowfall Amount Analysis is based on increments between current and previous snow depths.
