Research Objectives: To provide a scientific justification for studying Islamic religious knowledge through a sociological methodology, demonstrate how society a fundamental and influential for shaping Islamic religious knowledge and then the historical development of doctrinal (Aqidah) knowledge produced by Islamic scholars influenced by social conditions and challenges.
