Bregman et al ,evaluated the change of hepcidin
from Day -1 to Day 35 in patients randomized between oral
iron and parenteral iron therapy,The results showed that
there were no significant changes in hepcidin during oral
iron therapy and a significant increase in hepcidin during
parenteral iron therapy.
