A study of maternal mortality in the River Nile State to determine the rate

• The information was collected and analyzed using SPSS software

• Results: 25,988 live births

29 deaths

• The death rate is 112 per 100,000 live births; 

• 27 died 93% of mothers were hospitalized, while two cases resulted in death at home 7%.
