Approach: find out the indicators of daylight through previous studies, building a theoretical framework by identifying design indicators for locally appropriate design lighting in order to achieve environmental sustainability indicators, assessing the status of Iraqi hospitals according to the local indicators that have been identified in this research, Reach conclusions and conclusions, in the practical aspect of the research, the theoretical framework indicators were applied to a number of local hospitals to determine the efficiency of their daylight    design.
