The Middle Ages start with the fall of the Roman Empire in the fifth century AD at the hands
of the Germanic tribes, several various illiterate and pagan tribes who did not have respect
for the Roman learning traditions.Then, these pagan tribes converted to Christianity and showed deference to
the Roman Church.
