All bacterial isolates obtained underwent a preliminary morphological examination through Gram staining and motility assessments(Dimri et al., 2020). Subsequent physiological characterization tests were conducted and further validated using the VITEK system which accurately identified the isolated samples. For the identification of E. coli, colonies exhibiting a pink coloration on the MacConkey Agar plates were identified and classified as E. coli. A single pure colony was subjected to microscopic examination using the hanging drop technique, which revealed its Gram-negative characteristic and motility. accurately identify E. coli isolates the presence of E coli in frozen chichiken liver sample was definitively confirmed by antibiotic susceptibility testing and further validated using the VITEK system which accurately identified the isolated. These results were consistent with E. coli as described by (Avery et al., 2004). The typical rod-shaped E. coli cells were pink (Gram negative) in color. Colonies with the above characteristics were confirmed to be E. coli.
