Introduction(b): Resin based compsites have seen a steady rise in use , driven by the demand for aesthetic, tooth-colored restorations in posterior teeth.Participants were selected through a convenience sampling approach, and informed consent was obtained from all respondents prior to their inclusion in the study. The shift away from amalgam, influenced by concerns about mercury safety and biocompatibility, has reinforced the search for alternative materials[1] Patient perception and awareness are critical factors influencing the acceptance and long- term success of composite restorations.Identifying the determinants of patient acceptance such as prior experiences, socioeconomic background, and exposure to dental education is essential for improving clinical outcomes and ensuring informed decision-making.previous studies indicate that, although composite restorations are popular for their esthetic advantages, patients' understanding of their maintenance requirements and clinical performance can vary widely[3] .
