Sheikh Hamdan became the Minister of Finance in 1968 and remained in the position for more than fifty years.In his role as Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan collaborated closely with his brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in executing innovative projects that turned Dubai into an international hub.
