Water stress is a critical abiotic stress for plant reduction in arid and semiarid zones and, has been discovered to be detrimental to the development of seedlings as well as the growth and physiological characteristics of many crops such as cotton.The combining ability analysis revealed highly significant differences between parental GCA effects and F1 crosses SCA effects.
