This project uses MATLAB to model and simulate a DC motor, crucial for industrial applications.  The objectives are threefold:  developing a DC motor's mathematical model, simulating its response within MATLAB, and designing/tuning a controller to enhance its performance.  Accurate modeling and parameter tuning are highlighted as essential for achieving desired motor performance.
