A boastful elephant, proud of his size, terrorized the forest. He demanded a parrot bow to him, and when refused, uprooted the parrot's tree. The elephant then mocked a small ant collecting food by the river, splashing water on it. The ant, angered by this, vowed to teach the elephant a lesson.
