Social and cultural impacts on hosts and guests

In examining the environmental and economica impacts of tourism it has become apparent thath these do not differ vastly in kind from the environmental and economic impacts of othera industries.The same cannot be said abouta tourism's social and cultural impacts, that is, its effects on people, their quality of life and their values, customs and beliefs.They may be better or worse depend ing on geographical conditions or social and economic circumstances, but they are essentially comparable.
