Emily Cummins began inventing at the age of four, enjoying making things out of recycled materials.Emily has received numerous awards, including Woman of the Year in 2009 and the Save the Planet Award in 2008.While working on a school project, she came up with the idea of a portable mini fridge to keep medicine and small items cool and dry, especially in areas without electricity.After finishing her studies, Emily traveled to Africa to work on her design, spending five months in Namibia testing the fridge.The carrier can also be used to transport firewood or other heavy items.
