The Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and 
Humanitarian Foundation was founded in 1992 with a 
capital of Dh. 3.671 billion (USD 100 million) by the 
visionary leader and former president of the UAE, the 
late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan.Way before the establishment 
of the foundation, the late Sheikh Zayed was already involved 
in various humanitarian projects across the globe.However, 
the announcement of its establishment on 5th August, 1992, 
came to translate the wisdom, vision and his willingness to 
develop mechanisms of charity and raise them to world-class 
levels using state systems.Those in the position of leadership 
should deal with their subjects with compassion and
