I'm applying to be a City Guide because I'm passionate about sharing my city's history, culture, and hidden gems with visitors.  Having lived here my whole life, I possess extensive local knowledge and strong communication skills honed through prior volunteering and student leadership roles guiding school tours.  This volunteer position allows me to combine my love for my city with my desire to help others, contributing positively to the community.
