Oversee the daily operations of the clinical laboratory, including staffing, budgeting, and quality control
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices in laboratory medicine
Develop and implement laboratory policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high standards of quality and safety
Manage laboratory personnel, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and staff development
Coordinate with clinicians, healthcare providers, and other departments to provide accurate and timely laboratory services
Review and interpret laboratory test results, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide consultative support as needed
Conduct quality assurance activities, proficiency testing, and internal audits to monitor and improve laboratory performance
Stay current with advances in laboratory technology, diagnostic methodologies, and medical literature to enhance service offerings and patient care.
