I ran back over the rocks to Tino and Shauqi.
Raju stood on the rocks below us, getting ready to dive into the water. I couldn't see Darwish anywhere in the water.
"What are you doing, Raju?" I shouted. He dived. He disappeared into the waves.
Mr Lewis reached us. He was out of breath.
'Raju's in the water,' I said, 'and Darwish.'
'They can't swim,' said Shauqi.
'Where are they?" asked Mr Lewis.
We couldn't see anybody in the water.
They're going to die!' I screamed.

Mr Fahmy called the emergency services on his GSM. Darwish spent that Wednesday night in hospital.
