As a faculty member at Jazan University, I am motivated to undertake this research exploring the integration of data mining and AI to improve academic library services for several key reasons:
Rapid advancements in data science and AI have made powerful analytical techniques available.
Rising expectations of students and faculty for convenient, personalized library services require optimizing operations and decision-making.
3. The lack of adequate research on implementing emerging analytical and algorithmic techniques to enhance academic library performance at institutions such as ours underscores the need to explore this area.
4. Developing proactive knowledge management and service improvement capabilities can position our university library as a leading-edge provider amidst increasing user expectations. This study aims to help Jazan University`s library tap the potential of its data assets to elevate services, workflows, and data-driven decision-making.
