Artificial intelligence begin a new era of technological advancements, offering new opportunities for organizations to enhance their operational efficiency, decision-making processes, and global competitiveness (Farayola et al., 2023; Kaggwa et al., 2024).In XXX, as in other regions, the integration of AI into MIS can facilitate process automation, cognitive insights, and cognitive engagement, thereby optimizing organizational performance (Abdo, 2024; Almaqtari et al., 2024; Alsabt et al., 2024; Badghish & Soomro, 2024).AI's capacity to replicate human intelligence (Dwivedi et al., 2021; Nasrullah, 2023) and automate various processes (Agerfalk et al., 2022; Neiroukh et al., 2024; Usman et al., 2024) positions it as a transformative tool that can significantly impact the adoption and utilization of MIS in organizations (Agerfalk et al., 2022; Nasrullah, 2023).

In the context of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in XXX, AI has the potential to revolutionize management information systems (MIS) by providing innovative solutions to complex administrative and academic challenges. AI's capacity to replicate human intelligence (Dwivedi et al., 2021; Nasrullah, 2023) and automate various processes (Ågerfalk et al., 2022; Neiroukh et al., 2024; Usman et al., 2024) positions it as a transformative tool that can significantly impact the adoption and utilization of MIS in organizations (Ågerfalk et al., 2022; Nasrullah, 2023).
The adoption of AI in organizational settings, particularly within the context of MIS, has been a focal point of research in recent years (Benbya et al., 2020; Pumplun et al., 2019; Venkatesh, 2022). AI promises substantial business value, including increased revenue, reduced costs, and improved efficiency (Moinuddin et al., 2024; Stone et al., 2020; Wamba-Taguimdje et al., 2020). In XXX, as in other regions, the integration of AI into MIS can facilitate process automation, cognitive insights, and cognitive engagement, thereby optimizing organizational performance (Abdo, 2024; Almaqtari et al., 2024; Alsabt et al., 2024; Badghish & Soomro, 2024). However, despite the evident benefits, the adoption of AI in organizations, particularly in the context of HEIs, remains limited (Abdo, 2024; Badghish & Soomro, 2024; Mutambik, 2024). Studies indicate that while AI has the potential to contribute significantly to organizational success, the factors influencing its adoption are complex and multifaceted (Almaqtari et al., 2024; Alsabt et al., 2024; Wamba-Taguimdje et al., 2020).
