Extensive experience demonstrates that the durability of concrete structures is related not only to design and material but also to construction issues.Based on test results light weight crushed brick as a recycled aggregate provided a recycled lightweight concrete with sufficient strength.Upon completion of new concrete structures, the achieved construction quality always shows a high scatter and variability, and in severe environments, any weaknesses in the concrete structures will soon be revealed whatever specifications and constituent materials have been applied.The application of recycled aggregate has been started in a large number of construction projects of many European, and Asian countries.Many countries are giving infrastructural laws relaxation for increasing the use of recycled aggregate.Main concrete properties like compressive strength, flexural strength, workability etc.

specifications and constituent materials have been applied. In order to better take all this
variability into account, a probability-based durability design should be applied. the Use of
recycled aggregate in concrete can be useful for environmental protection. Recycled aggregates
are the materials for the future which helps to make a light weight concrete. The application of
recycled aggregate has been started in a large number of construction projects of many European,
and Asian countries. Many countries are giving infrastructural laws relaxation for increasing the
use of recycled aggregate. This paper reports the basic properties of recycled coarse aggregate
and compared to natural aggregates. Main properties of all aggregate are determined and their
effects on concreting behavior are discussed. Similarly, the properties of recycled aggregate
concrete are also determined. Main concrete properties like compressive strength, flexural
strength, workability etc. are explained here for different combinations of recycled aggregate with
natural aggregate. In general, present using of recycled aggregate along with its future need and
its successful utilization are discussed. Based on test results light weight crushed brick as a
