Specifically, the report will focus on Emirates Lighting Factory LLC (ELF), a business organization operating in the United Arab Emirates.
ELF is a leading manufacturer of lighting products and solutions, serving a diverse range of customers across the region. The organization has a rich history, having been established in the UAE over two decades ago. Since its inception, ELF has been committed to delivering high-quality, innovative lighting solutions to its customers. As with any organization, ELF has experienced numerous changes over the years, both internal and external. For instance, the organization has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, with the introduction of new technologies and processes aimed at improving efficiency and productivity. This transformation has also enabled the organization to develop new and innovative products that meet the evolving needs of its customers. To provide an example of how managing change and innovation is critical to business success, consider the case of Kodak, a company that failed to adapt to changing market conditions and technological advancements. Kodak was once a market leader in the photographic film industry. However, the company failed to recognize the potential of digital photography and was slow to adapt to this new technology. As a result, Kodak lost its competitive edge and eventually filed for bankruptcy in 2012 (DiGiammarino & Harris, 2016). In the case of ELF, the organization has been successful in embracing change and innovation, enabling it to remain competitive and relevant in the market.
