Firstly, the fellow will master the entire OSL measurement chain, encompassing Al₂O₃:C material properties, signal readout physics, and the application of operational dose quantities (Hp(10), Hp(0.07), H*(10)) in personal, area, and environmental monitoring at JRTR. Secondly, complete technical proficiency in operating OSL readers and annealing apparatus will be developed, including managing the full measurement workflow from system configuration to dose calculation. Thirdly, expertise in metrology, calibration, dose-response curve validation, identification uncertainty, and daily QC protocols aligned with ISO 17025 will be gained. Fourthly, the fellow will become proficient in Level 1 system maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for continuous laboratory operation.
