‏Introduction to the human relationship with animals

Man and animal belong, naturally, to one kingdom, and form, with the plant, a food circle, and therefore a life, one. Some animal species feed on the plant and some feed on smaller and weaker animals, and man depends on the plant and animal for his food and life. Man is the son of nature and remains a part of it, important to develop and gain a wide degree of independence and control over it.

The relationship between man and animal is complex, on the one hand, in which the dependence on the animal is managed by man in food and work (in transport, agriculture and some) and in wars (the use of the horse) and in guarding and combating some animals that are harmful to human interests (reliance on dogs and cats), and on the other hand, an unmanned dependence by the animal on man such as the adoption of birds and mice, at least in part, on the grains and fruit trees that man cultivates or stores from food, and the dependence of wolves and foxes, in part, on animals raised by man and predable to predators by them.
