METHOD:

1.Switch on the air blower and place the vehicle (with the 5 five slotted masses on it) on the air track at the distance 0.5 m from the photogate.Prepare 5 slotted masses each with 10 g and put them evenly on the vehicle.Make a mass of the hanger using 5 g slotted mass and plasticine.Measure the mass of the system (The vehicle with 100 g and the 5 slotted masses and the mass hanger)

5.Attach the thread to the vehicle at the end over the pulley to the hanger.3.4.6.7.8.

METHOD:

   Put 100 g on the vehicle (50 g each side)

   
   


2. 
   

   Prepare 5 slotted masses each with 10 g and put them evenly on the vehicle.

   Make a mass of the hanger using 5 g slotted mass and plasticine.

   Measure the mass of the system (The vehicle with 100 g and the 5 slotted masses and the mass hanger)

   Press the key START/STOP (the digital counter is ready to measure the time At of passing the card through the photogate) and release the vehicle. Now the vehicle will accelerate due to the mass hanger.

   Press again the key START/STOP once the vehicle passes the photogate and read the time of obscuration At in ms. Stop the Vehicle from crushing into the end of the air track. Write down the result in the table below
